My Approach

A problem-solver by nature, I believe that every challenge provides for an opportunity or solution. My approach is simple - understand your business, help prioritize your HR and business needs, and develop a practical, no-nonsense solution, tailored to your company’s requirements.

I have a proven track record in helping companies assess, acquire and align their people capabilities, systems and organizational culture to successfully execute their business plan and have done so in both profit and nonprofit, as well as, small to large sized companies.

My Story

With over 25 years of HR experience, I have led a wide range of HR programs, processes & initiatives.   I started my career initially in the federal government working for the U.S. Department of Commerce in their Office of Personnel and Civil Rights.

The work at the Department of Commerce peaked my desire to understand HR in the private sector, which resulted in a long, yet rewarding career with NPR.  I moved deliberately through just about every function of HR during my 23 years with the company.

Since leaving NPR in 2013, I did a brief but exciting stint as a Senior HR Manager with SpaceX in Los Angeles, California.  As a consultant, I have led a number of great HR accounts focused primarily on recruitment and executive search, outsourced HR programs and project-based assignments with companies both local and nationwide.

I am a member of HR-CalChamber as well as the Society for Human Resource Management and hold SHRM-CP and HRCI-PHR certifications.
